NARS Beach Lifeguarding Awards

The International Surf Centre surf crew know that lifeguarding and Surf Instructing are two of life's most rewarding jobs. The International Surf Centre runs National Aquatic Rescue Standard, Beach Lifeguard and Surf Life Saver Awards. These awards are a prerequisite for working with the RNLI on most of the UK beaches. The Beach Lifeguard Award is also needed should you wish to train as a BSA surf instructor. As you can see below we also offer the BSA surf instructor award. The NARS Beach Lifeguard award is one the most comprehensive lifeguard courses in the world and both awards are internationally recognised, should students wish to spend their holidays or a gap year working in France or abroad.

Students can either join in on courses already advertised or we can run a course specifically for your group, subject to numbers.
